Access to the Trail can be made from the Robert Mattke Park or at several other locations throughout the Town.  The Trail offers you a 4.3 mile scenic biking and / or walking Trail.  1.9 miles of this Trail are blacktop.    From the west end, the Trail heads north under the Hwy 18 bridge, winds along Plum Creek to the east into Fredericksburg - the Trail passes through the City Park - then travels to the eastern edge of the City to Prestein Park - under the east bridge on Hwy 18 - to the South by the Old Country School House - District 1, through the Vineyard and back West ending up by the City of Fredericksburg's Swimming Pool (Meinerz Dairyland Swim Pool).
